The Olympic Torch Is Coming To Blandford -Yay !!!

The Blandford Buzz is very pleased to announce, that courtesy of the London Olympic Organisation Commitee of the Olympic Games, the Olympic Flame is actually going to be passing through Blandford Forum on the morning of Thursday 12th of July 2012...this is a once in a lifetime event...wahooo !!!

Dorset is definitely having a sporting run of good luck - first of all Weymouth has been bestowed the honor of hosting the Water Olympics and now Blandford has been granted this Olympic privilege !
                                                   

This is an excellent Christmas present so to speak for Blandford Forum and it feels really great for The Blandford Buzz to be the bearer of such good news, which is certain to elevate the mood of the town and bring the town some positive publicity, as well as bringing Blandford a morning of prosperity in the foreseeable near future - watch this space as The Blandford Buzz will post more details of this forthcoming  momentous event as soon as we hear anything more...
