Family Hurt At Blandford Yuletide Festival Expect An Apology

A mother and father of 2 have sought an apology from The Blandford Forum Town Council in regards to the stray fireworks incident at last years Blandford Yuletide Festival. Questioningly the said fireworks had been set off from the rooftop of the HSBC Bank in Blandford Market Place though it is believed that the instructions on the firework packets were not clear - which resulted in the fireworks display becoming more like a war zone. Several people were injured during the incident, including a woman whose hair was burnt off and 2 young children were also hurt in the incident - whose mother Bernadette Morley-Smith and her husband have asked the Town Council to apologise for the fireworks malfunction, however Blandford Forum Town Council so far have refused to do so / passed the buck, saying that it is for the festival organisers to say that (very very easy 5 letter 2 syllable word which is SORRY).

Further more to ignite matters (pun partially intended) a Blandford town councillor is quoted as saying " I was standing in the middle of where all this was alleged to have happened...the fireworks were erratic but there was no panic at all, I didn't hear or see anything like that at all...".

The Blandford Buzz cannot stand the old fashioned old boy bureaucratic bravo back slapping hand shaking unwritten formal way of covering for each other when things go wrong, The Blandford Buzz was of the understanding that the Blandford Yuletide Festival was organised not only by Blandford Yuletide Festival Group but by other agencies specific to Blandford. The above mentioned town councillor said he "was standing in the middle of where this was alleged to have happened..." the following footage clearly support that Mrs Morley-Smith's version of the events which took place at the Blandford Yuletide Festival fireworks display 2011 are not mere allegations...
