I've just got home after attending the
Crown Estate Public Consultation at the
Blandford Corn Exchange, which as a small time small town blogger, I found rather overwhelming due to the fact that the public have so many different points of view about this matter and I'm not a trained journalist and as most would expect, there's certainly quite a debate about the proposed housing development at
The Crown Meadows/Bryanston Park. Some for, some against and others are sitting on the fence about this one, anyway that's another blog post or two or four or eight etc...eight is probably an exaggeration but this topic is generating so much local interest that as a citizen blogger I'll try to cover the issue without bias and I anticipate that it will take quite a few blog posts to do it due to my waning concentration span and the (self diagnosed) condition I (think I) have known as attention deficit disorder...
However dear reader I wont be able to write about the
CE public consultation until at least Wednesday next week, as I have another pressing issue to contend with and I only have until Tuesday 24th January to submit my paperwork...but that's another story entirely - albeit personal, though I hope to share it with you, once I have either attained victory or...shudder the opposite, I daren't write what the opposite is because silly little me can be some what superstitious at times and I don't want to jinx the outcome to my detriment - I wouldn't make a very good journalist, grammmar annnd spelllin assside, as I'm sure that journalism and superstition don't really compliment one another - do you ? !
Happy Tears - Wow, woohoo, yay, bril, ace, sic/k, wicked gud...after returning home and feeling completely exhausted and pondering how best to cover the story about the CE public consultation. I logged onto to this blog-sites dashboard and to my utter delight and amazement since Willie signed up yesterday, 3 more people have joined The Blandford Buzz !!!
It really did bring some good and happy tears to my eyes, I am sooooo grateful, it really does mean a lot to me - that people have found this blog and are interested enough in it and more specifically Blandford Forum and it's neighboring villages etc, to spare a bit of time to join this site - I'm lost for words, which for a blogger is quite ridiculous so let me just add that I'm buzzin' THANK YOU...x
