At The Blandford Corn Exchange
Local clubs, groups and voluntary organisations will be promoting what they
do and explaining how you can get involved in your local community.
The proposals for the regeneration of the town's Corn Exchange will also be
on display and a new living history project is being launched together with
the town's museum to bring to life the history of the buildings.
It's called
"Past, Present and Future" and we need your help!
You can contribute by bringing in photos or pictures of the buildings or by
telling us your memories of how they used to look.
Mayor, Councillor Esme Butler said "The event will showcase all our
wonderful community groups who work tirelessly to make our local
community so lively and vibrant. The Town Council will be showing its
plans for the civic buildings that we hope to transform so that they can
continue to contribute to local life and better serve everyone that uses them".
