Blandford Town Museum - At The Blandford Community Showcase

The Blandford Town Museum had a display at the Blandford Community Showcase on February 11th. The museum, run by volunteers is well worth making a visit to...
as it has artifacts that go as far back as the prehistoric and the museum also has many archives, so if you're researching your family tree and know there are previous generations of your family that lived in the Blandford area, then the town museum may be just the place, to discover more about your past distant family.

Left to right Wife & Husband Sylvia & Andrew Hicks and Jen
all contribute toward the running of Blandford Town Museum

Blandford Museum also has several clubs, including the living history project which records oral histories, from Blandfordians and people in the surrounding area - and the museum and garden club which maintains an authentic Victorian garden and sells the produce in the Blandford Museum shop.

The Blandford Town Museum will be open to the public from Easter time until October, 10:30 - 16:30 and its FREE ENTRY...yay !!!
