The Blandford Buzz is first and foremost for the people of Blandford Forum and the surrounding area and TBB believes that the people who pop by and view this website have their faculties and common sense about them and are able to distinguish between the fact that TBB is not an online local newspaper and that this blog-site is written by a regular everyday Blandford person - a blogger, who unlike a newspaper is more able to write certain things on this site. If any element in Blandford though wishes to use TBB as an outlet, within reason that's fine and it's great that this site would receive such a request, what isn't so great though, is that TBB understands that it's possible that a certain faction whose request was accommodated by TBB, probably directly interfered with this website, in fairness TBB will concede perhaps this was done due to any understandable embarrassment TBB may have caused, instead of firstly via email or phone request asking this site to resolve the problem.
To reiterate - yes it's understandable why this element presumably got something pulled off TBB, it's just the means to the end which this site objects to and I will add, that bloggers often times are unpaid, work alone and are (relatively) regular human beings, who unlike journalists are not trained but due to less constraints are able to cover certain events in greater detail and at length. However from time to time, more personal aspects of the bloggers own life may make it's way in to a blog post - though in the probable incident which has triggered this blog post, I have to say that I don't particularly think I went too overboard - I mean it's not like I did a Jerry Maguire...
