Blandford lunchtime Rotary Club Offer To Save The Georgian Fayre

At a meeting held on Wednesday 21st of this month, at the Crown Hotel Sealy Suite in Blandford, the Blandford Lunchtime Rotary Club, offered to rescue the Blandford Georgian Fayre and it's stressed out over worked struggling committee. The Georgian Fayre was set up twenty years ago by Janice Driscoll, who after such a long time, understandably wants to hand over the running of the fayre to others.

The Georgian Fayre Committee are bogged down by way too many
rules, regulations and paperwork.
too much work and not enough pesons to share the daunting work task,
they urgently need more members...
Members Of The Rotary Club/s (lunchtime and evening) In Blandford
After the meeting ended The Blandford Buzz noted that the Rotary club members segregated themselves from the Georgian Fayre Committee, which in the opinion of The Blandford Buzz, seemed odd and slightly disconcerting, oh well maybe they were being typical alpha males, making strategic plans and all that...

The Blandford Buzz also noted that ex town mayor Esme Butler, seemed to be the only town Councillor present at the Georgian Farye (crisis) Committee meeting - the current town mayor and town councilor, Sara Loch did not attend the crisis meeting. Furthermore it was vocalised by a Georgian Fayre committee member, during the crisis talks, that Mrs Butler is an "unusual" town councilor, in that ESME ACTUALLY TURNS UP TO MANY MEETINGS CONCERNING BLANDFORD ETC

Blandford Buzz says
"THE REASON ESME BUTLER ATTENDS AS MANY MEETINGS AS POSSIBLE IS BECAUSE SHE'S MORE INTERESTED IN THE ISSUES AT HAND, THAN WEARING THE BLING, THE PHOTO OPPORTUNITIES AND THE BIG FISH IN A LITTLE POND STATUS, THAT BEING A TOWN COUNCILLOR ENTAILS... ".
