Blandford Methodist Church Christmas Carol Service On Sunday 2nd December

Blandford Forum Methodist Church & The Gardens
Near The Tabernacle Area of Blandford Town Centre

When I went through my God phase (about 7 years ago), the Blandford Methodist Church was always my favourite church in Blandford Forum, not only because the church members seem to be especially humble, sweet and kind but also because the inside of the church building is warm, bright, airy and quaint and I wouldn't feel creeped out if I was accidentally locked in the church for the night...

Years ago when I visited the magnificent historic Milton Abbey, in the gorgeously picturesque village of Milton Abbas (according to Google about 8 miles from Blandford Forum) I became distracted by a picture of the Christ and as a consequence ended up momentarily locked in the Abbey, boy was I freaked out, IN COMPLETE AND UTTER PANIC, WHILST I FRANTICALLY BANGED ON THE ABBEY DOOR, LIKE A DERANGED PARANOID NUTTER,  I REMEMBER SCREAMING " LET ME OUT, LET ME OUT AAAHHHHH", luckily for me a man with a bemused expression on his face, who obviously thought I was a complete wuss (rhymes with puss as in pussy cat), opened the Abbey door/s from the outside and as my brain was still in flight mode, I legged it so quickly that I would've given Usain Bolt a run for his money...

Distance Between Blandford & Milton Abbas 8.0 miles Route A354

Anyway, when I saw (lovely) Joyce (who's a member of the Blandford Methodist Church) in Blandford library on Saturday 1st December, she told me that the Salvation Army would be hosting the Christmas carol service at the Methodist Church the following day, so I felt that perhaps He Who Must Be Obeyed was beckoning me to the event...
