Celebs Against Guns - The Horse Has Truly Bolted...

Celebrity is usually overstated but when the rich and famous use their status to bring attention to issues that are really important, then at least celebrity is being used in a positive way

In the wake of the terrible, fear instilling, change provoking, Sandy Hook atrocities, which took place at the hands of a merciless, crazed gunman/iac, last week on Friday the 14th of December; it didn't come as any particular surprise to learn that several celebrities, including Beyonce, Gwyneth Paltrow, Jennifer Garner, Will Farrel and Chris Rock, took part in the most recent American public message, against gun violence.

It's obviously going to take a lot more than a celeb fueled public broadcast on the matter of guns, to solve the gun problem in the United States of America, due to the fact (and bewilderment of the rest of the world) that the US populace have guns so deeply entrenched in their mass psyche, that the use of such weaponry is even incorporated in their constitutional second amendment.

The well intended gesture, on the part of celebs such as Ellen De Generes and Jamie Foxx, who took part in the anti guns broadcast, is like a single drop of rain in an ocean of guns, brutality and violence, seemingly vaster than the seven seas because as countless law abiding, peace loving, non gun toting, bullet despising Americans, know - the horse has truly bolted - the rest of the world wishes the United States of America the very best of good luck with locking the door now...x

Blandford Buzz says "Parents of 6, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie,
who've stared in some of Hollywood's most violent movies,
are nowhere to be seen in the celebs against guns video,
what a shame, wouldn't it have been great if they'd appeared in
it and also promised to not involve themselves either in front of
or behind the camera in any more films which glorify violence,  here's hoping...".
