The Blandford Georgian Fayre Committee had a display at the Blandford Community Showcase on February 11th. Rachel in the photo above told TBB that the next Fayre is on May the 7th this year, as the event is now held every other year. The occasion brings approximately 20,000 people to Blandford Forum. The charity that this years Georgian Fayre will support is "Blandford Opportunity Group" www.blandfordopportunitygroup.co.uk - a pre school for children with special needs. People are asked to voluntarily donate £2 to the Fayre on the day but obviously don't have to. Rachel also told TBB that the Fayre Committee is getting smaller and smaller and so could do with some more volunteers.
