Obama's Back In - Phew, Sigh Of Relief...

I am very relieved that the charismatic Barack Obama has been elected by the majority of people in the USA, to serve another (and his last) term as their president. For a while I was worried that the seemingly trigger happy Mitt Romney was going to oust Obama out of his very high office position  (high office but not highest because the United States is almost certainly not the biggest or most powerful superpower in the world - that title must surely go to China).

Mr Obama's re-election as president elect may not be the outcome that Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu had hoped for but the change that Barack Obama spoke of and reiterated and reiterated in 2008 has to a certain extent come to pass. 

The president elect brought about sweeping health care reforms which hopefully in the future will help ease the plight of millions of citizens of the US. 

When it comes to Israel - he has resisted Binyamin Netanyahu's warmongering megalomaniac desire to strike Iran without exhausting all other possible diplomatic and economic means available. Perhaps I don't need to turn the built in walk in cupboard in the hallway of my home into an apocalypse bunker cupboard after all....
