The Blandford Buzz spotted the Royal British Legion in Blandford town centre, they had set up a stall at the market near the Corn Exchange In principle or more aptly, in theory the Blandford Buzz doesn't agree with the concept of a military or warfare for many reasons, of which here are three -
1) War justifies the abandonment of supreme laws ie - the golden rule do to others as you would have others do to you etc...
2) War immediately strips a frontline man (and now due to political correctness) sometimes a frontline (emasculated) woman (who has obviously forgotten she is a bearer of life) as well as civilian populations geographically local to any bombardment, of the most basic human right - the right to life.
3) The war industry is the biggest commercial enterprise in the whole wide world - the manufacture of missiles etc cost millions which could be better spent on feeding the hungry etc...
So this site wasn't sure whether or not to give the British Legion a plug but after talking to some of its volunteers today, they seemed to be a friendly bunch and they were trying to help others, so the Blandford Buzz has decided to give them a plug after learning that some of the money raised by the Blandford and District Branch helps servicemen and ex service personnel (who in the opinion of this website are/were stupid enough to join the services) and or their families who have been affected directly or indirectly by recent modern warfare - including Bosnia and Afghanistan as well as WW2 - there probably isn't anyone around anymore from the first world war. The Blandford and District branch of the Royal British Legion will be out and about in the Blandford area for the next few days and they also mentioned that there will be a remembrance parade in Blandford town centre outside the Corn Exchange in just over a weeks time on Sunday 11th November at 14.45, to mark the Armistice - which has to be the mother of all synchronistic dates - 11/11/1918.

The Royal British Legion will continue to exist while servicemen and servicewomen are stupid enough to join the armed services and trust their government |
The Blandford Buzz comments
The Military Of Defence takes advantage of the mindset of men with a gun/g ho (almost a pun) testosterone fueled personality, the MOD doesn't give a damn when service men and women are killed, they just pretend to. Yes men and women that put themselves forward to serve in the military do so voluntarily but does the MOD tell them before they sign on the dotted line, the statistical likelihood of being killed or maimed? Do the MOD tells its human puppets when they sign up to -
"Enjoy having two legs because someday in the not too far future your nickname name might become Jake the peg with a wooden leg"
and one can only wonder if the MOD are asking new recruits -
"What hand do you write with?"
"Your right!"
You'd better start learning to write with your left, cos your right arm'll probably gets blown off, when you're stationed somewhere in the region of the Strait of Hormuz, after Israel, the US and Grey Britannia - that do not rule the waves - cross over the red line and start world war 3"...
